The German Language Learning Center was started under the Ma’din Academy. JVD Murthy, Head of German Language, Osmania University, inaugurated the event. He said that German was the language of science and literature and that the fact that there were 109 Nobel laureates in the language underscored the importance of this language. In India, the opportunities for German language learners have increased. There are 2,000 German companies operating in India. It will increase even more. Therefore, he added, the German language sector is the most promising sector.
Ma’din Chairman Sayyid Ibraheemul Khaleel Al Bukhari presided over the function. He said language learning was most needed for education and employment and it was essential to find new areas in post Covid-19 context.
The keynote address was delivered by Christophe A. France, Representative of the Hermann Gundert Society in Germany. Anees A, Assistant Professor at Department of German in University of Kerala, Rajasthan German e Language Studio Director Devkaran Saini, View Works Class Company Engineer Abdullah Mandakathingal, Umar Melmuri, Noufal Kodoor, Ma’din Spanish Academy Director Hamid Hussain and Ma’din German Academy Director Dr. Zubair, Ishaq VT, faculty at the institute delivered the keynote address.
