The Malappuram based Madin Academy’s latest educational venture, the Madin Edu Park will be inaugurated by Governor of Kerala Justice P. Sadasivam on Monday. The newly built sprawling campus on the top of scenic Kolay mount near Malappuram has extensive infrastructural facilities and hosts several institutes. Speaker P. Sreeramakrishnan will preside.
The 60 acre campus can accommodate around 4,000 students. The institutions in the campus include Madin Arts and Science College, College of Integrated Studies, Technorium Reisdential Campus, Ample Shore, School for the Blind, Vocational Training Institute, Higher Secondary School and Scitech Institute. Madin Centre for Foreign Languages, Polytechnic College, Museum and Research Centre, Mahabba Square are also part of the campus. A residential centre named Hill View Garden meant for researchers and students is also nearing completion inside the Edu Park which was built as part of the Vicennium celebration of Madin. Chairman Sayyid Ibrahim Khaleel Al Bukhari will deliver the Vicennium message in the inaugural session. Kanthapuram A.P Abubacker Musliyar will be the key speaker. P.K Kunhalikutty M.P, P. Ubaidullah M.L.A, A.P Abdul Kareem Haji will also participate.
The head of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) Dr. Nassir Abdulaziz Al Nasser will be the chief guest at the event. The Madin Academy will also sign a MoU with the UNAOC for working together in the field of cultural exchange and understanding. Madin Chairman Sayyid Ibrahim Khaleel Al Bukhari had attended the UNAOC Global Forum last month in US. Madin is the first Indian institute collaborating with the UNAOC which is an initiative under the UN to improve understanding and cooperation among nations and peoples across cultures and to reduce polarization at local and global levels.
