Malappuram: Lingua Magia, language empowering programme initiated by Ma’din Academy, was inaugurated by Kerala home Minister Sri. Ramesh Chennithala, here at Swalath Nagar, Malappuram.

“Language has a magical power. If you are well-versed in a language you can create wonders around you’’, said the home minister. “And languages open up new windows of wonders. It must be  a tool to unite minds, not to divide them.  The achievements made by Ma’din Academy in language studies and technical field are commendable’’,  the minister added.

The Lingua Magia programme  organised in connection with the International Mother Language Day. The programme hosted discussions introducing ten international languages.

Ma’din Academy chairman Sayyid Ibrahim Khaleel Al Bukhari presided over the programme. P.Ubaidulla M.L.A was the chief guest. The introductory talk was delivered by Dr.K.K.N. Kurup, director general of Ma’din Academia for Research and International Studies,  Dr.Nagendra Sreenivas (Assist. Professor, Dept. of Russian Studies, University of Calicut), Muhammed Shakir Misbahi Jarkhand (Arabic), Hussain Master (French), P. Zubair, research scholar EFL University, Hyderabad ( German), Dr. Hamid Hussain (Spanish), Muhammed Saheer (Ma’din Institute of Turkish Studies), Prof. Muhammed Alungal (Head of Department of English, EMEA Kondotty), Muhammed Musthafa Kodur (Urdu), Habeeb Koya (Kuwait), Ibrahim Baquavi (Persian) spoke representing their respective languages. Musthafa Baqavi Tennala, Moideenkutty Baqavi Ponmala, KPCC secretary Ajay Mohan, DCC secretary Baburaj,  Rasheed Paramban and MN Kunhahammed Haji were also present.
