Madin academy is the epitome of noble aim that will make a revolutionary transformation in our society in the field of education and charity, chief minister Oommen Chandy has said.
Mr. Chandy was inaugurating the inaugural ceremony of Madin Academy’s 20 th anniversary commemoration titled Vicennium at Swalathnagar in Malappuram.
‘Madin Academy conveys that if begun with a perfect aim, any institution could be led to great high. Madin academy is, in fact, a proud institution of our state itself, he added.
In the Vicennium Inaugural ceremony presided over by academy chairman Sayyid Ibrahim Khaleel Albukhari in the presence of chief guest Manjalamjuzhi Ali, Kerala minister for urban development, the Vicennium Erudite award was presented to the Apco group chairman and m d AP Abdul Karim Haji considering his contributions by the chief minister.
K.T Jaleel MLA, Prof. AK Abdul Hameed, KMA Raheem Saheb, DCC President E Muhammad Kunhi, SYS State Secretary Musthafa Master Kodur, and Abdul Jaleel Saqafi also spoke in the ceremony.
While on the second day (Monday) of Vicennium inaugural ceremony, the Social Security conference on the topic ‘‘RTI- Scope and Significance’’ was organized. In the conference, presided over by Sayyid Ibrahim Khaleel Albukhari inaugurated by Kerala minister for electricity Shri Aryadan Muhammad, Adv T Asif Ali DGP made the talk on the topic ‘RTI- Scope and Significance’.
Addressing the gathering in the conference, DGP Advocate T Asif Ali said the RTI is one of the prominent acts of the world that is similar to that of right to live. ‘The Right to Information Act had certainly reduced the gap between the authorities and common men. If we are aware of our legal system and laws we are in no need to bow before our authorities. RTI in fact has strengthened us common man’, he added.
Sheikh Habib Adil Jifri from Madina, Muncipal councilor KP Hyderali Saheb, and RP Hussain Master also spoke in the social security conference.
